Partho Das is an "Assistant Professor" at the Institute of Water & Flood Management (IWFM) in Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET). He joined IWFM just after his graduation (B.Sc. in Civil Engineering) from the Department of Civil Engineering (CE) in 2015 (class rank: 4th out of 197). He earned his M.Sc. in Civil Engineering (Environmental) from the same department in 2018. He obtained his Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from Arizona State University (ASU), USA in 2024. His career objective is to work as a researcher in the field of Water Resources Management, with a focus on the environment and ecosystems.
